Come to La Faîs'sie d'Cidre and celebrate Jersey's rich heritage of growing apples and making cider. The highlight is traditional cider making – the magnificent sight of a horse crushing apples, then the building up of layers of pulp on a Press to extract juice.
There will be entertainment and live music throughout both days and a lot to see and do: children’s games and activities, including arts and crafts with Bianca Padidar, juggling and plate spinning with Danny Faulkner, balloon magician Royston South, face painting and giant bubble blowing!
Local, seasonal treats including a Genuine Jersey craft market and demonstrations; Jersey Beekeepers and honey display; apple juicing; bread making; Jersey Wonders; experts identifying apples and advising on growing; Hamptonne Café and food stalls; cider from CAMRA and La Robeline; archive photographs; the Big Draw and lots more…definitely something for everyone to enjoy.
