The Managing Director and founder of Walk-in Physio is Charlie Cotterill. She is an experienced physiotherapist who has worked for many years in the NHS, British Military, private sports injury practices, GP surgeries and private hospitals. 



Charlie was an Extended Scope Practitioner in Lincolnshire. She has also worked with several sports clubs in Leicestershire including the Leicester RFU.  


Charlie was a Volunteer Physiotherapist at the London 2012 Olympic games where she treated Olympic athletes from the Canoe and Kayak slalom and the Mountain Bike events.

 We use skills such as:

Manual therapy; this is the use of mobilisation or manipulation of joints or muscles to treat injuries.

Therapeutic exercise; you will usually be given a sheet of exercises to try at home to help your injury

Acupuncture; this is the use of fine needles iserted into specific points on the body to help pain and injury.
Kinesio Taping; is the application of dynamic tape to facilitate injury repair.

Electrotherapy; this is the application of electro-physical modalities such as ultrasound, interferential or a TENS machine to help your problem.
